the screener is a multi-ticker, multi-report table — rows are your tickers, columns are reports, and every cell shows the live data for that ticker/report combination.
use it when you want to scan across many assets and multiple report types at the same time. instead of checking ES on IB, then NQ on IB, then checking gap fill — you see all of it at a glance in one table.
report slots
the screener displays reports as columns. by default, four reports are pre-loaded when you first open the screener:
opening candle continuation
initial balance — standard
initial balance — by rejection
previous day's range
these four give you a solid read on daily bias and key levels right out of the box. you can keep them, swap any of them out, or add more on top.
the screener supports up to 8 report slots — you start with 4 and can expand from there.
changing a report slot
to swap a report in any slot:
click the report name or dropdown at the top of that column
pick a different report from the list
the column updates immediately
each slot is independent — changing one doesn't affect the others.
adding more report slots
to add a 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th report:
look at the left navigation bar on the screener page
below the last report listed, click + add new screener
a new slot appears — click its dropdown to choose which report to display
you can add up to 8 slots total. beyond that, the add button is no longer available.
removing a report slot
to remove a slot you no longer need, click the remove icon on that report slot in the left navigation bar. the column disappears from the screener table and the remaining slots stay in place.
available reports
19 reports are available in the screener. these are the reports with live data that can be meaningfully displayed as a column in the table view.
not all edgeful reports are available in the screener — if a report isn't showing up in the slot dropdown, it doesn't have a screener-compatible version.
common questions
can I save my report slot configuration?
yes — save it as a template. the template captures your report selection, tickers, and session so you can restore your screener setup in one click. see screener templates for how to create one.
why is a report I use missing from the slot dropdown?
not every edgeful report is screener-compatible. only reports with live data that can be displayed in a table column are available — 19 in total. reports that require a full chart or more complex rendering aren't available in the screener.
can I have the same report in two slots?
yes — you can add the same report to multiple slots if you want to compare it with different settings or just have it visible in two places in the table.
