two ways giveaway access gets applied
depending on the giveaway, your free access is granted one of two ways:
a promo code you enter yourself — you'll have received a code (in the giveaway email or message) that you enter when you start your subscription
access applied directly to your account — if you already have an active account, the team adds the free access to your account on their end, so there's no code to enter at all

where to enter your code
your code is applied when you start your plan, on the subscription / checkout screen — not somewhere inside the app after you're already subscribed.
log in to edgeful (or create your account first if you're brand new).
go to start your subscription and choose the plan the giveaway is for.
on the checkout screen, look for the field to enter a promo or discount code, enter your code, and apply it before you confirm. the discount or free period should show in the order summary once it's applied.
confirm — and your access is set.
the most important part: make sure the code shows as applied in the summary before you pay. if you don't see a code field, or the code won't apply, don't pay full price to "fix it later" — stop there and reach out through the chat (see below) so the team can apply it for you.

reach out whichever way is easiest — through the in-app chat widget (bottom-right of any edgeful page once you're logged in) or by email to [email protected]. either way, include a screenshot of your logged-in YouTube account that matches the winner announced on stream, so the team can confirm the win and apply your access.
emailed in and haven't heard back?
if you emailed and haven't gotten a reply yet, the fastest way to reach the support team is the in-app chat widget — bottom-right corner of any page once you're logged in. it goes straight to the support queue, so it's quicker than waiting on an email thread.
if you can't get into the app to use chat, email [email protected] — that address routes to the same support queue. include the giveaway you won, your account email, and your code if you have one, and the team will get your access applied.
how and when your access shows up
once your code is applied at checkout — or the team applies access to your account — it's active right away. you can confirm it in manage account → membership, where your current plan and access period are listed.
