edgeful AI is in the left sidebar — it has its own dedicated nav item, the same level as reports, WIP, and the screener. click it to open the AI interface.

no setup required. there's nothing to configure before your first use — click the nav item and you're in.

when you open edgeful AI, you'll see a suggested prompts panel — a set of example questions to get you oriented on what the AI can help with. these are a good starting point if you're new to it.

below the suggested prompts is the chat input. type your question and hit enter.

to start a fresh conversation, click the New Chat button. this clears the current conversation and opens a blank session with the suggested prompts ready again.

use this when you want to shift topics — for example, finishing a research session on NQ and starting fresh with a question about GC. keeping conversations focused on one topic tends to produce better results than mixing multiple questions into the same thread.

edgeful AI saves your chat history. previous conversations are accessible from within the AI interface — you can scroll back through past sessions and pick up where you left off.

this is useful if you want to revisit research you ran earlier, reference a previous response, or continue a line of questioning from a prior session.
