summary: how to use edgeful's VWAP suite indicator — a multi-VWAP tool whose dashboard shows where price sits relative to the New York, daily, weekly, and a custom anchored VWAP, with cross alerts.

what it is

the VWAP suite is a multi-VWAP TradingView indicator. its real value isn't any single line — it's the dashboard that shows, at a glance, where price sits relative to every VWAP you care about and how far it is from each one.

what it shows

by default it plots three anchored VWAPs:

  • New York open (blue)

  • daily (orange)

  • weekly (green)

plus a custom anchored VWAP you can enable and anchor to any date or time you pick — a prior all-time high, yesterday's close, the overnight low, whatever you're watching.

the on-chart dashboard lists each active VWAP with whether price is currently above or below it and how far price is from it.

how to use it

use the dashboard to read where price stands against each key VWAP without eyeballing the lines. a few practical touches:

  • toggle individual VWAPs on or off depending on what you're trading.

  • on Mondays the daily and weekly anchors line up, so they'll sit on top of each other.

  • the above/below column can be hidden since the green/red already tells you.

  • if you prefer your own VWAP lines on the chart, you can hide the indicator's lines in the Style settings and keep just the dashboard.

alerts

the indicator supports alerts on crosses:

  • price crossing a VWAP (for example, price closing below the New York VWAP)

  • one VWAP crossing another (the daily crossing above the weekly, or above your custom anchor)

set alerts on the top-level VWAP conditions rather than the lower sub-options, so you're not flooded with noise.

customization

the calculation source is adjustable if you calculate VWAP differently than the default. as with every edgeful indicator, open the settings to customize it, and use reset settings to return to defaults.

getting set up

the VWAP suite is one of edgeful's invite-only TradingView indicators — you unlock it by linking your TradingView username to edgeful once. see the indicator access article for the steps.
